ENROLMENT/CARDS / PIN NUMBER
Q1. How do I enrol in the Escape programme?

Apply for an Escape Card instantly at any Shell station by completing the Escape application form and handing it over to the station staff. All personal details must be duly completed in order to activate your card for redemption. You can earn points instantly with your first fuel purchase at any Shell station.

 

The last 4 digits of your NRIC number will be used as your default redemption PIN number. It takes approximately 1 month, from card application, for your default redemption PIN number to be activated. You are advised to change this default redemption PIN number to a redemption PIN number of your choice immediately via the Escape website. You may also wish to update your personal details on this website.

Q2. How can I change my default redemption PIN number?
For security reasons, once your default redemption PIN number is activated, you must immediately change to your preferred 4-digit redemption PIN number via the Escape website at www.shell.com.sg/escape.

Q3. What if I have forgotten my redemption PIN number?

Please call the Shell Service Centre at 1800-ESCAPEE (1800-3722733). Our customer service representatives will reset your redemption PIN number to your default redemption PIN number, which is the last 4 digits of your NRIC number.

Q4. What happens if I lose/damage my card?

Escape Card
If you lose your Escape Card, call the Shell Service Centre at 1800-ESCAPEE (1800-3722733) immediately to lock your account. When your account is locked, you will not be able to make any redemption. You can apply for an instant replacement card at any Shell station. Thereafter, you should contact Shell Service Centre to transfer your existing Escape Points to your new Escape Card.

If you damage your Escape Card, you can apply for an instant replacement card at any Shell station. Thereafter, you should contact the Shell Service Centre to transfer your existing Escape Points to your new card.

Q5. How do I earn Escape Points?

Escape Points are awarded instantly when you purchase fuels at Shell. Standard Escape Points earnings at Shell are as follows:

 

Qualifying Fuel Type Points Per Litre
Shell FuelSave 98, 95 and Shell Diesel 1 Escape Point
Shell V-Power 1.2 Escape Points
Notwithstanding lost cards, valid cards must be presented at point of purchase to earn standard Escape Points. Submission of receipts for backend crediting of points is disallowed.

Q6. How will I know the number of Escape Points I have?

You can check your Escape Points balance as follows:

a. Swipe your Card at the self-service Escape Points Balance Enquiry machine found at the Shell station.

b. Login to your account on the Escape website using your Username and Password

c. Register a valid email address for your account on the Escape website to receive your bi-monthly Shell Escape Online Statement email.

d. Call our Shell Service Centre at 1800-ESCAPEE (1800-3722733). Select language option, loyalty card member services (2), enter [full card number] #, press (1) and key in authentication (NRIC for Singaporeans and ID for foreigners) [ID] #.

Q7. When do my Escape Points expire?

Your Escape Points expire 2 years from the date they are issued, on a first-in-first-out basis. However, for Cards that have not been used for a continuous period of six (6) months for purchases of Shell fuel and to accrue Points, the 2 years validity will not apply and your Card will automatically be cancelled and all unutilised points in the Card(s) will be forfeited/invalidated.

ESCAPE VALUE CARE CARD
Q8. What is an Escape Value Care Card and how do I apply for one?

The Escape Value Care Card is a loyalty card developed specially for cab drivers only. It works like the Escape Card, but it also entitles you to many other exclusive benefits that the regular Escape Card does not offer.

 

Apply for an Escape Value Care Card instantly at any Shell station by completing an application form and handing it over to the station staff with your Taxi Vocational License. All personal details must be duly completed in order to activate your card for redemption. You can earn points instantly with your first purchase at any Shell station.

 

The security features, accumulation and redemption of Escape Points are exactly the same as the Escape Card. You can refer to Question 2 - 7 above for more details.

Q9. Is the Escape Value Care Card exclusive to cab drivers? Can other Professional Drivers and private motorists who are customers of Shell diesel products apply for the card?

Yes, the Escape Value Care Card is exclusive to cab drivers only. You have to present your Taxi Vocational License in order to apply for the Escape Value Care Card.

No, the Escape Value Care Card is free, and there is no expiry date to this membership.

No. As with other Shell Cards, the Escape Value Care Card is non-transferable.

Yes, you can hold on to 2 or more cards at the same time. However, each card has its own individual benefits that are non-transferable.

Q17. How can I redeem catalogue rewards?

For your convenience, catalogue rewards can be redeemed instantly at selected Shell stations and participating merchant outlets, depending on the item. Please refer to the latest rewards catalogue for details. You need to present your valid principal Card and enter the correct redemption PIN number in order to effect a redemption. Redemptions can only be made within the redemption hours indicated and while stocks last. You are advised to contact the relevant outlets to check on stock availability ahead of redemption. Please refer to other relevant terms and conditions.

Q21. Why do you issue points based on the number of litres pumped?

With point issuance based on litres, you are insulated against pump price changes. For instance, when you enjoy Shell discounts on fuels, you will continue to earn a fixed amount of Escape points despite paying a lesser amount for your fuel purchase.

 

In this Escape programme structure, you earn standard Escape points as well as bonus points from other marketing promotions. The bonus points are applicable for all Shell Fuels.

You can create your Username and Password here for the first time to gain access to Shell Escape Online. Please have both your Escape Card Number and redemption PIN on hand to create your Username and Password.

 

If you have not registered your new Escape Card online, please click on Online Access Card Registration to fill in the requested details. This will activate your new Escape Card to provide you with online access to Shell Escape Online. You may also call our Shell Service Centre to activate your account.
